  • Graham Crackers

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup rolled graham crackers 6 full crackers
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ dry bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • ½ tsp allspice
  • ½ tsp pepper

Instructions
 

  • Mix ingredients together.
  • Brown lightly in a little oil.
  • Place in casserole dish and add a little water. Cover tightly with foil.
  • Bake at 350° for 35-45 minutes, until tender.
  • Meatballs can be frozen after baking to use in a future meal.

This is a delicious recipe for Geman Spaetzle, it is also known as German egg noodle dumplings. Spaetzle is a small, soft dumpling/pasta that is a versatile dish that can be used for many different dishes.  It can be served plain or sautéed in a little bit of butter. Ingredients Needed For German Spaetzle

  • Flour
  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Butter
  • Parsley
  • Nutmeg

RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

Combine flour, nutmeg, and parsley. Lightly beat eggs. Mix together eggs, milk, and flour. Let batter rest for 30 minutes or more. Bring water to a boil. Pour a cup of batter into the colander and forced through holes with a spatula over boiling water. Small elongated drops will boil and rise to the top where you can use a slotted spoon to remove and place in a bowl. Heat a skillet over medium-high with butter. Fry the spaetzle for 5 minutes or until golden. Garnish with parsley. Serve with Swedish Meatballs and Gravy.
