This is a delicious recipe for Geman Spaetzle, it is also known as German egg noodle dumplings. Spaetzle is a small, soft dumpling/pasta that is a versatile dish that can be used for many different dishes. It can be served plain or sautéed in a little bit of butter. They are the perfect side dish for this Swedish Meatball recipe!

Ingredients
2cupflour
6eggs
½cupmilk
½cupbutter
2tbspfresh parsley + extra for garnish
½tspnutmeg
Instructions
Combine flour, nutmeg, and parsley.
Lightly beat eggs.
Mix together eggs, milk, and flour.
Let batter rest for 30 minutes or more.
Bring water to a boil.
Pour a cup of batter into the colander and forced through holes with a
spatula over boiling water. Small elongated drops will boil and rise to the
top where you can use a slotted spoon to remove and place in a bowl.
Heat a skillet over medium-high with butter. Fry the spaetzle for 5 minutes
or until golden.
Garnish with parsley. Serve with Swedish Meatballs and Gravy.
