Make a toasted coconut honey latte at home with just a few simple ingredients. This coconut honey latte will help you sit back to relax with a favorite latte drink at home. Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups of strong coffee
  • 1 cup of half n half
  • 1/3 cup of honey
  • 2 Tablespoons of coconut extract
  • 6 teaspoons of sugar - or substitute if desired
  • Whipped cream - to top
  • Toasted coconut - to top

Instructions
 

  • Place the coffee in a heavy saucepan, and over low heat, add the half n half, honey, coconut extract, and sugar.
  • Stir all ingredients together, and heat through.
  • Pour the Latte into coffee mugs and top with whipped cream and toasted coconut.
  • Serve, and Enjoy!

Notes

You can buy toasted coconut on the baking isle, or toast your own by placing shredded coconut on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and placing it in the oven at 350 for about 10 minutes, or until it's golden brown.  Let it cool before placing it on the whipped cream or it will melt.
