This vibrantly colored Berry Beet Smoothie is loaded with healthy ingredients including berries, beets, and chia seeds. It’s super filling and satisfying, and has an irresistible flavor you'll love - even if, like me, you hate beets!

Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas cut into chunks and frozen
  • 1 cup strawberries frozen
  • 1 cup raspberries frozen
  • 2 large red beets roasted, peeled, and chopped
  • 2 cups almond milk unsweetened
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 6-8 ice cubes
  • 4 springs fresh mint optional garnish

Instructions

  • Add the frozen bananas, berries, beets, almond milk, and ice cubes to the blender. Cover and blend on the highest setting until completely smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes. If the mixture is too thick, add a little water to reach the desired consistency.
  • Divide between 4 glasses and top each serving with some chia seeds.
  • Garnish each glass or jar with a sprig of fresh mint, if using, and serve immediately.

Notes

Can substitute water for almond milk for brighter red color and fewer calories.
